NDIS

Our NDIS Allied Health team can assist you with the following:

Initial needs assessment

This is our first point of call where we gather all the background information about your needs and goals so we can assess the services we need to provide to support and help you.

Allied Health Clinical Assessments

We have a broad range of experiences assessing and working with adolescent and adult disabilities including neurological conditions, developmental disorders, mental health presentations.

Inter-disciplinary assessment

Depending on the needs of the client, an inter-disciplinary (Inter-D) assessment may be suggested. This is where two professionals from different disciplines, for instance and occupational therapy and psychology, devise the client’s psychological and functional goals and treatment plans.

Carer education and training

We can work with your support team to ensure that they are able to best meet your health needs at home and in the community.

Reporting

At Verve we’re flexible in the way we can tailor our feedback to you following assessment. We can provide comprehensive reporting, short progress reports, summary emails and verbal feedback over the phone. For more information on the reporting options available and associated costs please contact us.

Fees

Our organisation conforms to the NDIS price guide for hourly rates of allied health professionals. We tailor quotes specific to your desired service needs and are competitive within the marketplace.

Occupational Therapy Services

Functional capacity assessment

Verve’s occupational therapists use a person-centred approach, and a mix of subjective and objective tools to ascertain your current level of function. This helps ensure that NDIS participants receive the optimum level of support and funding to achieve their goals. We will carefully assess your mobility/motor skills, communication, social interaction, learning, self-care and self-management abilities.

Assistive Technology

We’ll find the right tools to help you at home, at school, at work and in the community. Verve offers the level 3/4 Assistive Technology (AT) assessment and report that is required under the NDIS system. And we use the NDIS AT template form for our reporting. We utilise funds from the Improved Daily Living Skills' budget (under Capacity Building) for the AT assessment.

Whether it’s minor home modifications like grab rails, half-steps, threshold ramps and magnetic door catches or more complex home modifications, we can help. We can also engage in builder consultation and obtaining necessary quotes if required.
